How a quest to learn to paint in watercolor turned into a tiny business.
How a quest to learn to paint in watercolor turned into a tiny business.
It started small. Then it grew.... slowly.
My background is in the fashion industry. And I spent many years as a textile designer. I knew adding watercolor to my portfolio would benefit my quest for jobs. So I bought a cheap set and started practicing.
I started painting flowers because they're relaxing. And let's be honest, if you can't paint a flower, are you even a textile designer? I soon got bored and wanted to move on.
My first skull turned out great. And in true spicy brained nature, I only wanted to paint skulls from then on. But since my first love is fashion, it only seemed right to add bows and flowers to my new friends. And my little gang of skeletons kept growing.
